I was born in beautiful Yosemite National Park - a wonderful, magical place for any artistic spirit to be born. It wasn't there that I honed my talent.  But what an amazing inspiration. My curious self started with oil painting.  I learned how to mix oils to create different effects.  I became quite good at this and people began to notice and recognize me for my oil paintings. Years had gone by, I deeply enjoyed oil painting.  Yet, during the pandemic lock-down I began experimenting with acrylic pore painting.  I was shocked to find out what a fantastic chemistry art it is. This lead to me being more curious and more. After this excitement, I was given a suggestion and I pondered it. I took it! This leads to  mixing experiments. And to tell you the truth, what happened was divine magic. I had more ideas. I tested my ideas and mastered results that produced shiny, bright and beautiful paintings.  I taught myself how to make them sparkle, glow and even change color!  Eventually, I developed my one-of-a-kind jewelry line.  I decided to  name my creation and process CherUrLight.   All the while connecting with wonderful humans while selling my oils When I put CherUrLight on canvas, it is a CherUrLight painting; when I hone CherUrLight into a solid waterproof mass, before I fashion that  into a piece of wonderful elegant and whimsical jewelry, I call this a "stone".  I have developed a fan base! And a would love to keep sharing my artful spirit with the world
